Knitted HDPE is more flexible, stretchable, and tear-resistant — the loops unravel less if cut. Woven is more dimensionally stable. For shade nets, knitted is the industry standard because it handles wind loads better.
Our UV-stabilized HDPE mesh is rated for 5-10 years outdoor exposure depending on UV intensity. The highest degradation occurs in tropical and equatorial regions. We offer 2000+ hour UV testing per ASTM G155.
